It all begins with an idea!

Owner & CEO of the Hope Street Hotel David Brewitt and Producer Andy Evans have big plans for the Grade II listed ‘Royal School for The Blind’ building.

The idea to build Liverpool’s first state-of-the-art Art Grading Theatre & Post Production facility has developed into HARDMAN STUDIOS. An inclusive home for media creatives including Post Production, Audio Production, Meeting Rooms, Screening Theatre, Writers’ Room, long and short-term Production Offices, and shared space for people to meet, work, and create.

The Royal School for the Blind was the oldest specialist blind school in the world, founded by Edward Rushton. It was also the first in the world to offer education and training to blind adults as well as children.

The School will be the face of HARDMAN STUDIOS, which already has businesses and individuals in situ offering Film & TV Production and Post Production, Visitor Attractions, Immersive Experiences, Games, Architecture, and Digital Media plus three restaurants, a coffee shop, and the Hope Street Hotel.
